Athletes4life Youth Wellness Policy

Athletes4life wellness policy was created to support organizations in their mission to follow the recent Act’s passed by Congress. We also set out to fight adult and childhood obesity. Athletes4life’s goal is to thoroughly educate the public to enable them to take full control of their family’s health and wellness.
At a minimum, athletes4lifewill support local agencies to include—

  • Goals for nutrition promotion and education, physical activity, and other activities that promote wellness
  • Nutrition planning to promote health, and fight against adult and childhood obesity.
  • Teachers, school health professionals, school administrators, and the general public in development, implementation, and review and update of their own local wellness policy.
In response to this mandate, both federal and non federal agencies have responded with tools and resources for agencies to assist with developing, implementing and evaluating local wellness policies. Athletes4life is committed to creating healthy communities, schools, and lifestyles. We strive to provide a total learning environment that enhances the development of lifelong healthy habits in wellness, nutrition, and regular physical activity. Athletes4life recognizes that significant research supports a positive relationship between good nutrition, increased physical activity, and academic success.
Athletes4life encourages and supports wellness activities for children, parents, students, and staff.
